The old World Vision collection was here in Bacic Steveness, so I've moved this thread there too. And since it's going to be a bday present, it can't be considered Off Topic Wink

Okay, how about a cut off of late February-ish. That will be plenty of time to get the funds collected, sent off and a copy mailed with a card to Steve for his birthday. Now, if he doesn't sneak a peek on the forum and find out about it.... Wink

Again, this is a fundraiser for World Vision, the charity that Steve supports. The funds collected will go to the organization from the BaChicks in his name. I will send him a card with the names of those that donated. If you wish to donate anonymously, let me know. Otherwise, you're on the card, cuz I'm proud to say I know each and every one of you in some way or another, and think you're mighty nice. Very Happy

No doubt most everyone is aware of the horrid disaster in Haiti. World Vision is one of the relief organizations bringing aid to the area now. I'd like to bump up the urgency of this fundraiser, as there is an immediate need for disaster funding right now. The donation amount and card will still be sent to Steve as a birthday present, but if we could make the donation sooner, it would be better.

So, if you are considering a donation, PM me and let me know to expect it and maybe when. If we could wrap this up in the next 3 weeks it would be great and get the funds sent off.

Update: So far donations total $75. Thanks so much to all who have donated so far. I've heard from a few others who will als be sending in a donation, so that total will be increasing. Yeah! Very Happy

To recap: This is a fundraiser for World Vision, in honor of Steve's birthday as this is the charity he supports. All money raised will be donated in his name from the BaChicks. With permission, I'd like to list all those that donate. If you'd like to remain anonymous, PM me please. Otherwise your name will be on the list.

PM me for donation information. The fundraiser will remain active for at least 2 more weeks, but if you plan to donate and need more time, please contact me and let me know.

I'd like to thank our very generous BaChicks for their donations, so far totaling $183!

I'm going to keep the fundraiser open for at least one more week, until the 20th of this month. That will be enough time to send the funds, and get a card out to Steve with the donation receipt by his birthday.
